2 months old!

Landon turned 2 months old on Sunday! He is absolutely amazing! Every day I think about how lucky we are to have him. He is an incredible little boy!

We had an appointment with his cardiologist this morning and he is happy with Landon's progress. He showed us Landon's growth chart and he is moving on it as expected. He is still small for his age though, of course. He weighed 10 lbs, 6 oz today and is 23 inches long! He is getting too long for some of his clothes, but they are too big around him. I think that will be a battle for a while.

He has improved his eating for us, which is very exciting! The more he eats, the more he grows! We are still hoping that as he grows the holes in his heart will shrink. He has used his G tube once in the last four weeks and that didn't go very well, so we are hoping that we can continue to strictly orally feed him. 

Yesterday, Landon discovered his fist! He gets it up to his mouth and licks it and sucks on it a little. He continues to smile at us a lot and I even got a small giggle out of him today! His favorite thing is getting his diaper changed. I think it's because he thinks it's so funny that we have to clean up his poop! Today though, he smiled about going for a ride in the car. 

On Sunday, I took pictures for his 2 month birthday and I used a blanket that he received when he was in the hospital. It was made by a 3rd grade class in Middleton. Here are some of my favorites!
